You get our Vari-Cool Coolingmist Controller and software package. (software NOT required to configure the system, its pre-programmed with amazing base maps).
The vari-cool coolingmist controller is the controller in which all others will judged. Coolingmist has set the standard as we re-invented the controller. The Vari-Cool Coolingmist Controller has a MIN, MAX and TUNE Knob. The Min is your starting point. You can set this between 1 and 30. The Max is your Full Pressure Point, the Tune is your
curve. If you set the Min to 6, the max to 20 and the tune to 1, you will get a linear curve from 6 to max at 20. If you adjust the Tune higher, you will get a more aggressive tune. With 10 pre-programmed maps, coolingmist could have just stopped there and called it a day. But as with our other products we will never rest just because we are better. We want to stay on top, to do that we decided to make it a fully programmable unit. We are the first and only methanol injection company to have a fully programmable progressive controller. You can hook the unit to your laptop or PC (requires battery power source) and change the parameters. You can make your own maps. The 1 to 10 position tuning button will increase or limit the max duty cycle. For example, if you need the max flow, you can set it to 10 by changing the knob. To get less flow, lower the knob. This is especially useful when your EGTs are high. During pulls you can set it to 10, you will get 100% of the injector flow at max boost setting, perhaps your not towing but want some cooling, you can reduce the knob to 5 and get 50% at max boost. Perhaps you want the system to increase to max flow faster..you can configure the tuning curve with the software.
This kit will ship with 2 nozzles and a TEE. Our controller has DYNAMIC FLOW CONTROL. This allows you to change the duty cycle of the pump at will. The duty cycle will change automatically as you rise in boost, but you can change it further through the tuning button or software.
Probably one of the coolest features is that our controller can allow you to run both the 0-5V input and the Boost at the same time. Using our software you can configure it for example:
Have the 0-5V as the Primary Input and only activate when boost is over a certain Amount (user adjustable)
Or have the boost as the primary input but only activate when at or above a certain voltage.
Remember our controller has a CPU and is 100% digital. The accuracy rate and flexiblity of this unit is astounding.
Coolingmist controller is the only unit on the market that allows for both a 0-5V input and a boost port. This means you dont have to choose, you can do either. We took it a step further and let you use both at the same time. It will require you to use the software if you want to run the 0-5V and the Boost Port at the same time.
You do not need to hook this to a computer unless you want to tune it, it is designed to plug and play
In addition to our controller it ships with our high pressure pump, 15 feet of high pressurehose, 2 Quart Tank (6 gallon option available), taping kit, 2 sizes of injectors. Our Brass Checkvalve and of course all the electrical and misc components you need.
